Nutrition & Fitness Coach

Shelby is a remote fitness and nutrition coach who has a passion for building strong, powerful men and women with confidence to match it. She found her way into the fitness industry through CrossFit, but soon realized that the one size fits all approach didn't work for her, and for many others. She decided to pursue a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology to expand her knowledge of how the body works and how to optimize her own performance, leading her to help others do the same.

After learning of a genetic disc issue in her spine, Shelby began working on being precise and intentional with her training, which allowed her to continue to compete in CrossFit and obstacle course racing, without pain, and which soon translated into her main "why" in becoming a better, more educated coach. She believes that the industry needs more professionalized coaches, and strives to do that in her approach.

When it comes to nutrition, Shelby believes in fitting your nutrition into your current life, not the other way around. Through a methodical but "doable" approach, she finds that most clients can be happy enjoying the foods they love while also performing how they want in the gym and being confident in the bodies they've built.

When she isn't in the gym, you can find her snuggling her puppy, eating Jeni's ice cream, or riding rides at Disney World and Universal Studios with her husband.
